Job Description

The Retail Shift Manager is responsible for managing store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, staff productivity, sales performance, and compliance with retail standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred

• 1–4 years of experience in retail operations or team supervision

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills

• Basic knowledge of POS, inventory, and cash management

• Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day retail store operations during assigned shifts

• Supervise, guide, and motivate sales staff on the shop floor

• Ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs

• Handle customer concerns, returns, and escalations professionally

• Open and close the store as per shift schedule

• Monitor cash handling, billing, and POS operations

• Ensure proper visual merchandising and store cleanss

• Track inventory, stock movement, and replenishment needs

• Implement promotions, offers, and brand guides

• Prepare shift reports and coordinate with store manager
