Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fashion-savvy Buyer for our sunglasses division. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, vendor relationships, and consumer preferences in eyewear. This role requires strategic planning, negotiation skills, understanding of margins and a passion for sunglasses and accessories.


Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing or buying, preferably in fashion accessories or eyewear.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and inventory management software

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings, and consumer
    preferences to identify opportunities for product selection and assortment.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
    Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability.
  • Product Selection: Curate a diverse and fashionable range of sunglasses, ensuring
    alignment with brand strategy and customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize
    stock to minimize excess while ensuring product availability.
  • Sales Analysis: Review sales data and performance metrics to make informed
    purchasing decisions and adjustments to inventory strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising teams to develop promotional
    strategies and product launches that enhance brand visibility and sales.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage purchasing budgets, ensuring alignment
    with financial goals and cost control measures.
  • Trend Forecasting: Stay updated on fashion trends, seasonal styles, and emerging
    technologies in eyewear to anticipate market shifts and align product offerings
    accordingly
